[ So this place has a graveyard.

It's no wonder it had gone undiscovered for so long -- it's a considerable walk into the woods, the path to the entrance overgrown with shrubbery, and it's only a recent shift of the scenery that's brought it to their attention.

And, as expected, it's a beautiful, if lonely place. The plants here are beautifully green, the grass speckled with wildflowers, all of the tombs cobwebbed with delicate vines and blossoms. Though the shadow of death lingers over every inch of the place, it's peaceful in a weird way.

Which is why Jion ends up lurking there one afternoon, standing before an old tombstone as he mulls through his thoughts. His mind's a million miles away, trying to parse through too many things at once, and he doesn't realize until very late that he's probably not the only to visit this graveyard.

The sound of Ryan's approaching footsteps catches him completely off-guard, and he whirls around with a startled noise -- and almost stumbles back into the tombstone in his haste. ]

[Of course he'd be drawn here eventually, all things considered-- graveyards have always been places he's liked to hang out, when he could handle being outside and making the trip. There are always people there without anyone left to visit their resting places, and they're often pleased to have even a stranger come by, especially one who knows they're there.

But it's a little surprising not to be the only one who's shown up, honestly, and there's a matching surprised squeak from Ryan at the sudden movement and the realization that oh, the other figure in his peripheral vision was not in fact a dead person but is instead someone he actually recognizes.]

Oh, jeez, sorry-! I'm not interrupting, am I? I can leave you alone if you want, I just...

[He gestures vaguely around them, there.]

Thought it might be a nice place to spend some time, I guess?
